Our school in Germany allowed one day of menstrual leave per month. Some people needed them, others didn't but it was good it existed imo

Hm in Scotland we have menstrual leave in the sense that if menstruation is causing poor health you can take sick leave for that? Wouldn’t that be the case most places?

IMO menstrual leave just normalises severe period pain. Just have decent full sickness pay for everyone for any reason with period informed training mandatory

My college has a “period dignity” campaign. Tell me why, in a lift, I get asked by a girl if I have any feminine hygiene products. I said to her, “There should be some in the bathroom.” It cost money that she, as a student, did not have. Luckily, I was carrying my purse and had some cash for her. Don’t ever hide behind campaigns like, “Period dignity,” when you have girls on your campus who are not able to afford the feminine hygiene products you “supply”
