@jeeves_ny: I’m a dry cleaner and here are some garments I avoid because they’re difficult or impossible to clean: leather edition!!! 1) Faux leather is plastic that will break down, peel, and fall apart, usually within a few years. 2) Colorblock leather is risky since darker panels often bleed into lighter ones during cleaning. 3) Suede stains easily, even with water, and the nap will wear down over time no matter what. 4) Light colored leather is tough because it stains quickly and is very hard to color match if it needs touching up. 5) And anything with contrasting leather trim tends to cause problems. If you’re buying leather, stick to classic dark colors since they’re far easier to maintain. #leathercare #garmentcare #drycleaning
