For those squirming about the egg. The Alcohol percentage is high enough in this recipe to kill any bacteria in the raw whipped egg. Period. This Eggnog will keep for weeks in the refrigerator. Enjoy

Might not be such a great idea to make uncooked foods or drinks with raw eggs since (a) there is a massive ongoing egg recall for salmonella in the US and (b) avian flu is a real worldwide concern this year. Please use pasteurized milk products and fully cook your meats and eggs

the worst part about egg nog is the vast majority of recipes require alcohol, and the ones without tend to not be so good. So I, as a non drinker (24 years old) can really only buy the store bought stuff
