worst feeling for me was when i finally got off the survival mode and realized i don't know what to do with myself. i have no hobbies, i have no plan, no dreams, i barely enjoy things, i have no friends left around me. i felt more purpose when i was fighting for my life, now i don't know what to do.

the trouble is, when all that adrenaline and reacting to immediate events stops, it leaves a void that gets filled in with rumination and trying to process what happened, because you couldn't do that then.

I genuinely didn't realise I wasn't my own person until it was all over. I was just constantly copying people to blend in and just get by. it's so fun actually being a person and having things I enjoy
