In Political Science, we learn how utang na loob can hold the country back when it leads to blind loyalty and corruption. I remember one of my Prof said that hit me so hard “real change begins when we stop repaying individuals and instead pay it forward to our community” Nakaka-taba lang ng puso even Joy is not a polscie she knows a lot.

For me, utang na loob is not a compensation. You give back when they need it not because they help you first. Sa madaling sabi, hindi ka obligadong tumanaw ng utang na loob nang agad-agad.

Idk where I heard it from during the pandemic but it goes like this "When someone helps you and they expect you to return it then it's not help it's called manipulation." and I agree, help shouldn't be an utang na loob pwera nalang kung pabor yun kaya nga din tayo may tinatawag na "Kusang loob".

this makes sense👍🏼, but on the other hand, pag lagi ka namang tumutulong kahit walang kapalit pero nong ikaw namn yong humingi ng pabor w/c very rare and ni reject ka ng taong lagi mong tinutulungan, di talaga maiiwasan na sasama ang loob mo which nangyayari talaga sa realidad..yeah pay it forward but if nangangailangan ng tulong yong laging andyan pag down ka its a good will also na this is the time for you to pay back.
