🇨🇳The Uyghurs in Xinjiang — What You Weren’t Told
Before Xinjiang the U.S. targeted Tibet (this has been going on since 1950.) After many years of failed Tibet attempts, in the 1990s ex-CIA officer Graham Fuller promoted a new strategy: weaponize Uyghur nationalism to fracture China.
For over two decades, the U.S. has targeted Xinjiang—not for “freedom,” but to destabilize China and secure a strategic military position near Russia.
The East Turkestan Islamic Movement (ETIM)—a U.S.-designated and trained terrorist group linked to Al-Qaeda—carried out deadly attacks like the 2009 Ürümqi riots (200+ Han Chinese killed) and the 2014 Kunming attack (31 dead, 140+ injured). Thousands of Uyghur militants later joined ISIS and Al-Qaeda in Syria.
In response, China cracked down to stabilize the region. Yes, some innocents were caught in the sweep, but only 2009 to 2017=260,000–~262,000 (rounded estimate)were detained—not millions, as falsely claimed by Western media.
The “Uyghur genocide” narrative came from U.S.-funded fronts: the World Uyghur Congress and the Uyghur Human Rights Project—both backed by the National Endowment for Democracy (a CIA regime-change tool). Their lead source, Adrian Zenz, is tied to NATO think tanks and unverified data.
Xinjiang is now heavily monitored, and there has been no terrorist attack since 2017.
If anyone knows the destruction the US Military Industrial Complex creates around the world, they would understand that China actually protected and save the Uyghurs in China.
