Actually I’m pulling books off the shelf correctly. The book publishers are making the books wrong. They should be reinforcing the head of the spine but they refuse to do so

I get what you’re saying, but I see a lot of sheep in the comments. If you are a rare book dealer, totally get it. But if I’m in the privacy of my own home, I’m going to remove a book the way that I want to remove the book.

Pulling from the head of the spine is a perfect way to tear dust jackets, too. It’s important not to have books too tightly put together on a shelf. I love this page so much!
