@sarahkraffty: Lemon Drop cookies! Episode 29 of my Christmas cookie series! Ingredients: 2 & ¼ cups all purpose flour 1 teaspoon baking powder ¼ teaspoon salt 1 cup granulated sugar 2 lemons, zested ¾ cup unsalted butter, room temperature 1 large egg 1 teaspoon vanilla extract 1 tablespoon lemon juice Lemon Glaze 1 & ½ cups powdered sugar 3 tablespoons lemon juice How to: Start by adding granulated sugar and the zest of two lemons in a mixing bowl. Mix until well combined. Add in softened butter and mix well. Add in egg, vanilla extract, and lemon juice and mix well. In a separate bowl combine flour, baking powder, and salt. Mix in with dough until mixed together. Chill dough 1 hour. Scoop dough onto a parchment lined pan using a 1 inch cookie scooper. Bake at 350 degrees for 11-13 minutes. Let cool. Mix ingredients for icing together and top cooled cookies. Made 25 cookies! #lemon #christmascookies #cookierecipe #baking #cookies
