The accumulation of knowledge is crucial and a cornerstone for understanding ourselves and the world. Without this accumulated knowledge and human heritage, the human mind would remain as it was before civilization. There would be an endless repetition of early human practices until the extinction of humanity. The accumulation of knowledge encompasses culture, and even seemingly insignificant practices are important and influence human interaction, thus becoming part of this accumulated knowledge. The more knowledge accumulates, the more human consciousness develops.
