You can’t keep picking at an old wound and expecting it to heal. It is literally IMPOSSIBLE. You need to stop going through your camera roll. It’s over. I know it’s a really big thing to swallow but you gotta heal now. And u need to move because youre home sick for a persons arms who are not even willing to hold you. yet. even worse, youre home sick for a person in a version of a person who doesnt even exists anymore. Because if you keep reminding yourself of their existence, how is your brain ever going to forget them? You’re just prolonging your healing, telling yourself you are in no contact with them when all you are really doing is waiting for them to come back. I waited for 9 months for someone who is not coming, for someone who left me willingly and definitely chose somebody else. It’s time to move on, to put a band-aid over the wound so it doesn’t become the scar for life. Let it heal on its own. Forget them. Stop searching their name, going through their reposts… it will literally drive you insane like it did to me. Don’t make the same mistakes I did. I believe in all of you. I strongly recommend everyone to pick up a book Healing Isn't Pretty by Mira Hartson, it changed my life completely.
