MARRY ME SALMON This is going to be one of the most incredible pasta and salmon dishes you’ll ever have. You’ve heard of the viral marry me chicken, but lets switch things up with something even better - this marry me salmon is so easy to make, so delicious, and SO good. The salmon is phenomenal on its own, but its always better with some high protein lowcarb pasta. I used my @Kaizen Food Company pasta for this, but you can use any pasta you prefer. Here is how I made it (makes 4-5 servings) 1 Start by seasoning 1lb of salmon filets.Lay them out on parchment paper or board and season with a couple pinches salt, fresh cracked pepper, 1 tbsp onion powder, 1 tbsp garlic powder, 1 tbsp sweet paprika, 1/2 tbsp thyme, and 1/2 tsp cayenne pepper. Distribute evenly over the salmon filets and set aside. 2 Bring a pan on medium heat and cook the salmon for about 3-3.5 minutes on each side. Set aside. 3 Now lets make the sauce. Finely dice 1/2 large yellow onion. Add it to a pan on medium heat with 1 tbsp oil or butter and 1 tbsp water. Then season with salt, pepper, and 1 tsp thyme. 4 When the onions turn translucent, add 2 tbsp tomato paste, 3/4 cup cream, 3/4 cup bone broth, and mix well with a spatula until it cooks down to a beautiful orange color. 5 Add 1/2 cup sundried tomatos, a large handful of fresh basil and turn off the heat. Reserve some of sauce (about 1/3 to 1/2 cup) 6 You can serve this with rice, quinoa, or pasta. I served it with my lowcarb high protein @KaizenFoodCompany pasta. I used the fusilli shape, boiled the pasta in generously salted water for 4 minutes, strained, rinsed, and added it to the pan with the sauce and mixed it well. 7 When you’re ready to eat, plate up the pasta, top with a salmon filet, some fresh basil, and freshly shredded pecorino or parmesan cheese. Add some more of that sauce (optional) on top and devour! ENJOY! #lowcarb #lowcarbrecipes #keto #ketorecipes #healthyrecipes
