Heavenly Father, As we step into this new month of December, our hearts are filled with gratitude for Your faithfulness throughout the year. We come before You now, asking for Your divine hand of protection and covering to rest upon our family. Lord, You are our refuge and our fortress, our God in whom we trust (Psalm 91:2). We pray that You would place a hedge of protection around our home and each of our loved ones. Shield us from all harm, accidents, illness, and the schemes of the evil one. May Your holy angels encamp around us, guarding our coming and our going, both now and forevermore (Psalm 121:7-8). We ask that You illuminate our path with Your light and wisdom as we navigate the unique challenges and opportunities of this holiday season. In a time that can be filled with busyness and distractions, help us to keep our focus on the true meaning of Christmas—the celebration of the birth of Your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior. Father, bless our family with Your peace that surpasses all understanding, especially in moments of anxiety or uncertainty (Philippians 4:7). Strengthen our unity and bond of love, and help us to treat one another with kindness, patience, and respect. Remove any bitterness or resentment from our hearts, and give us the strength to forgive as You have forgiven us. We pray for Your abundant provision and good health for every family member. Meet all our needs according to Your riches in glory, and help us to be a source of encouragement and generosity to those around us, reflecting Your love to a world that desperately needs Your presence. We commit our plans, our hopes, and our fears into Your loving hands, knowing that You care for us. We trust in Your mighty power to keep us safe and secure, and we thank You in advance for the joy, blessings, and miracles You will bring this month.
