@elmint: Let’s go on a run together for the first time since I got the ✨dreaded✨ Shin Splints🫠 I haven’t been able to run for about three weeks now and it’s honestly been so unbelievably frustrating!!!! Just as I was starting to fall in love with running and was in such a good routine I had to stop🥺 BUT after lots of physio, a PROPER Gait Analysis at Run Active, some custom insoles from Foot Balance and taking the warm up + pre run stretches more seriously than the actual run itself we are BACK!!! There is literally no guarantee that the shin splints aren’t going to come back but I am literally doing everything in my power to try and stop them from returning!!! BUT I am feeling hopeful and that honestly was probably my fav run I have ever done🥹- not checking my pace, running as slow as possible so I didn’t unintentionally aggravate my shin and just listening to my music and vibing!!! Forgive me if this is unwelcome advice, but I used to get horrible shin splits and doing tibialis raises saved me. I do them most days and before every run now and my shins feel bulletproof. Glad you’re enjoying running again 🥰❤️

For my shin splints when I used to run a lot more I used compression sleeves. They look a little goofy but they do help a ton!
