@jeninehepworth: Edible Christmas gifting series part 8🎄 Homemade cranberry sauce Ingredients: -340g cranberries -135g granulated or caster sugar -65g light brown sugar -155ml orange juice -zest of one orange -cinnamon and ginger ( optional ) add to personal taste . -generous pinch of salt Method: -in a pot add all of your ingredients and mix to combine -put on a high heat and bring to the boil, you will start to hear the cranberries pop allow it to boil for another 2 minutes then turn to a simmer -using your spoon squish the cranberries -simmer for 10-15 minutes until the sauce becomes thicker , you can test if it’s ready by putting a spoon in the mixture and it clings to the back of the spoon rather than dripping off -put your sauce into a jug to make it easier to pour into your jars -allow sauce to cool down at room temperature then put in the fridge to chill and enjoy !
