The morning my cat died I was balling my eyes out while in the tub. The door creaked open and she walked in like she always did, tears blurred my eyes so I hurried to wipe them. She was gone but the door was still cracked open when before it hadn't been.

When I lost my cat of 25 years in April, I had saved her nails for years. I had cleaned my room the day after she died, and when she passed I ransacked my entire room and shelves looking for those nails I saved. I never found them, and started crying hard over it. 3 days later I found one of her nails neatly placed on the carpet next to my bed. Mind you this was VACCUMED carpet, no reason for it to have showed up there randomly. It’s the only nail I have now, I saved it in a jar.

pet grief is a different kind of grief, you see them one second, the next they are gone little reminders that they are still watching over us. I've lost 4 family pets in a year and 3 months It really hurts at the moment
