Whenever I hear people say it’s “religious discrimination” I roll my eyes bc I was a psychology major at a catholic college and if I had turned that essay in it would be a zero. You can’t just say “the bible says” what part of the bible? Genesis, exodus, gospel of John? What verse?

i wrote a paper defending my pro life stance and got full credit. my professor wrote something along the lines of “while i disagree with just about everything you said, you organized this essay well and your writing and logic is fantastic.” i then entertained an hour long debate where everyone else in the class threw questions at me and he just let me have the floor and answer. i think he’s disappointed im not a lawyer lol

As an extremely religous Catholic author—the essay was HORRID by collegiate standards. I have submitted work where I disagreed with my professors’ beliefs outward but I did the assignment criteria according to the rubric & was articulate without alienating people.
