As a mother with three children, I honestly can’t remember the last time I ever got a gift for anything… birthday…Christmas…Mother’s Day definitely don’t get gifts unfortunately

I can afford my kids gifts but I have rarely gotten anything for like 25 years, maybe opened 10 things in that time. It's ok, I care about my kids (who are now young adults)

Hi. Struggling single mom here. We are just happy to see our babies happy on Christmas. I, personally, always hated when my parents would say "we just want to see you happy" but now as a mom, I get it. Is there stuff I want? Yes. Is there stuff I need? Of course. But if my daughter is happy, I'm happy. Hope this helps. 🖤

As a parent of two, we don't need gifts as long as the kids wake up on Christmas Day with a gift to open that's all that matters ☺️

I had to utilize angel tree one year. My greatest gift was that-the angel tree. It was so emotionally crushing having to ask for help because I was financially struggling. But being able to see my kids open gifts-nothing made my heart fill more. Their excitement, their joy….this program was a gift for all of us!

I’ve seen a lot where if it’s a single parent they buy for them. Almost like it’s ok if there’s 2 of them it doesn’t matter 😢 me and my husband never used to buy each other, as long as the kids had we were happy ❤
