Because the other person says "Isipin mo mga ginawa ko para sa'yo" it comes off as sumbat. it's not always being ingratitude. Sometimes that person just feels guilt-tripped, like the effort is being used against them. They weaponizing their past efforts to make them feel like they owe them. Keep in mind, you did those things out of love, so never use it against them. Effort should be appreciated but it shouldn't be turned into emotional leverage.

for anyone thats silently quitting and is headed towards that direction. please for the love of what was you both before, dont say that phrase. it invalidates every piece of effort and time he spent on you no matter how small, and they'll drown in their own mind thinking what effort was it exactly that you didnt ask for until they come to the conclusion that you didnt ask for them themselves.

Here’s a thing that if we love someone we never expect from them dapat— unless you guys are together. People kept saying in this com sec na “hindi namn nila hiningi na gawin mo ‘yun” tama namn sila but I know yung feeling na “please appreciate it naman kahit konti kasi ginawa ko yun para sa’yo, hindi ko sinusumbat actually i am so grateful that i did that, naging masaya ako nung ginawa ko yun” righhttt ganoon dapat!?!?!!
