Pretty similar to me! I had a rough time with enjoying P5 and I don't wanna have it take more of my time to try P5R(100+ hours) to see if it was just a fluke. P3P, P2IS and P4 are my tops. I need to do EP soon.

I’m all for P5 realism, but I don’t think P3R was THAT bad, not as good as other remakes sure, but it was definitely more useful for getting people into the series. After all, real men know all games are peaksona for a reason😛.

I find the "Reload is terrible because it strips the original identity" a bit disingenuous honestly 😭 It's a remake, so at its core, it's going to stem from making P3 better OBJECTIVELY. Most of what made P3 unique was it's unfortunately diabolically low budget (via the atmosphere and ESPECIALLY shown in the animated cutscenes) I think I can definitely agree on the lack of grim and darkness being a negative, however I also believe January in Reload actually NAILS how depressing it is since absolutely everything becomes gray compared to the vibrant contrast prior. My first experience with P3 was Portable so I never really got to experience the true original or FES, but I highly doubt my positive opinion with Reload would change at all, even if ultimately I would think FES is better. 💭

I cant begrudge anyone rating 1 and 2 down because they cant hang with the gameplay ik older smt games need certain mental pathways opened but I stand by that P1 PSP with the og PSX OST mod is the most vibes the series ever gets

While most people (myself included) are going to disagree with your opinions with Persona 3 stuff (because let’s be honest whether you like it or not, it’s undeniable that there are more Persona fans who don’t like the fatigue mechanic and not being able to control your party members, ultimately causing them to not want to play FES, than people who do like it), everyone is entitled to their own opinion and I’ll respect yours.
