if he played in the 70s, 80% of his skillset will be useless. his gather steps, hop steps, long strides would be illegal. palming rules are stricter. he would have to play a vertical game (dunks, jumpshots, airborne moves) as opposed to a horizontal game (euro steps, 0 steps, pinoy step, on-ground moves) because those moves are illegal in the 70s. he would be relegated to a center position and would have had to mostly work with his post up game.
