this is why " turning your brain off to read" and only reading for "spice" is letting huge publishers get away with selling unedited and shitty books. its worse than i thought. the marketing for the book turned me off so i never read a single page.

It’s gotten soooo disrespectful towards audiences recently!! I’ve honestly resorted to flipping to the first page of a book and checking the publishing date. Anything before 2021 gets the green light anything thereafter I assume a 12yo has written it and don’t bother buying anymore 😭
