There was a group of people trying to catch a dog across the street last week. I went over to help and he ran right up to me and sat down. The owner came over and said, “We’ve been trying to catch him for over an hour!” I’ll never forget that feeling.

Different kind of this same thing but someone introduced me to one of their highly autistic students and I high fived him instinctually and when he left the teacher grabbed me and was like “did he high five you!?! He has NEVER done that to anyone!” I was insufferable for weeks.

I was petting a street cat and he was always the sweetest boy with me. A neighbor was looking at me weird so I said “oh he’s super friendly!” She said “no he’s not. He’s my cat and he hates everyone.” 🙃

I'm a lineman and just like 2 weeks ago there was a woman walking her Doberman and he got off the leash. I was grabbing something from my work truck and he comes barreling towards me with her screaming "He's aggressive!!" He stopped right at me with his little nub wagging like crazy. I just stood there petting him until she got to me to get his leash reconnected. She was like he normally hates men because he was abused before I adopted him. My wife and I have been fostering for years and all dogs love me. Not sure what it is about me but no matter what trauma a dog faced, I seem to be the exception.

I have a weird energy with animals every single time I've gone to someone's house and they've said our cat isn't friendly it's come up to me and snuggled up to me and same with dogs and horses I get warned off but after I'm like.... am I God? a Disney Princess? what is happening?
