I loved how they changed it from Scott just fighting with Ilya in the book!! It added so much more to Shane and his battle with his sexuality and feelings for Ilya. Like the fact that Scott clocked their tea but they’re all in the depths of angst and closeted despair, UGH THEY’RE MORE SIMILAR THAN THEY EVEN KNOW
