this gentleman is challenged by the ubiquity of current technology. in his previous life you may recall that he was fully against the use of police body cams. clearly he has grown accustomed to not accounting for his actions. now, as minister and facing the cameras on a daily basis with people asking probing questions which they have a right to - it's just too much for him so he's going to use his authority and his power to silence, curb, censor journalistic objectives. his answers are typically vague and interpretation subjective. tounge-in-cheek he asserts that social media is a misapplication of current available technology which should be better applied to things he can control.
