to me they're buying them for the catalogue and IP. because they don't really have either. they need to buy a catalogue before all the places with catalogues stream their own and stop leasing them content. they need to do it or die

On what authority is this man speaking on?? Lmao There are other streaming services that exist that wouldn’t make this merger a monopoly ie Disney/hulu, Paramount, tubi, plato, Apple TV, Peacock , Starz, Hallmark, GAFam, PBS, and the aforementioned Amazon; etc.
