staffing is a problem 🥺I'm currently working with two team members for my business and it's a big struggle to even get them into the vision and mission; all they want is to be paid 🥺

Have local people come to bill you before. Have you paid light bill, have you bought fuel, have you maintain machine before, how about customers, how about pricing, business in Nigeria would drive you insane and now they want to collect 20% tax. My landlady just increase rent by 100%, rent from 900k now 1.6m. I cry everyday how do you save, how do you buy more machine abeg

You have captured everything. Please add multiple tax and levies to the list. A truck from the North will pay at every checkpoint before it gets to Lagos, the landing cost of food product is already high.

You don't call them loan app, they are loan shark 🦈 because their interest rates is too outrageous and not inline with CBN interest rate.

should we talk about how people naturally assumes you're making money because you're doing business
they see you post and already help you calculate based on the items you posted and then they feel the right to bill you
everything is somehow honestly

isn't it funny how people that still got some stuff going for them at least to some extent would still say there is nothing good from Nigeria.
you just graduated and you are being paid 500k as a entry level staff in the bank, and when people say the country is hard you will join them. like we don't have the same graduate living on far lesser pay are still living life their fullest their

Omo, you’re 100% on point. I remember when I wanted to set up my hotel business one microfinance bank told me I had to run an account with them for six months before they could even consider giving me a loan. If not for family and friends, I would still be going up and down looking for a credit facility. I always advise anyone seeking a loan to first try family and friends. There’s nothing wrong with trying; don’t be scared of rejection because some people will turn you down, but others will be willing to help. Have it in mind that if your business’ survive 5years in this Nigeria economy nothing can shake you again.

Yes we can learn from igbo people, but one thing is different people having several knowledge in their brain due to their personal overtime experience, another thing is collating the knowledge and documenting it so it can be assembled as a pattern that can be learnt about , in summary , taking the knowledge from crude /raw form to documenting for study purposes , so who will do this task???
