@checkmate.reviews: Just moved out of Kaufman Lofts into our first home! So here's my review of the Condo. Location 10/10 You are on the edge of downtown, loud enough to hear events, but far away enough they don't bother your intersection. GO Train is walking distance, grocery stores, 3 minute walk to Kitchener City Hall, 5 minute walk to Victoria Park walk, 15 minutes walk and you're at Kitchener Farmer's Market. Oh and you're seconds away from Central Station (ION) and a gazillion bus stops! Amenities 5/10 No gym, barely used the Patio during the summer because going to the downtown events were more a priority. Still nice to have. There isn't much of a lounge area. Party room is absolutely beautiful. Just book it whenever, even if you have only a few people coming, it will elevate your hangout. Sound Control -10/10 This is a personal problem so eliminate this if you and your partner are very quiet people -- it can work well lmao. Yes, we could have probably got panels for the walls but we knew we were renting short term. Condo Layout 5/10 We've seen MUCH better layouts in the building because we were considering to buy. Actually the apartment we considered to buy was a corner apartment so maybe too much light hahah See if you can be in a unit that has more light! Overall, I do not want to say badly about the place because if the sound didn't bother me and if they had a small gym somewhere, I would give it a high rating.
