Nurses and teachers… strong, intelligent, take-charge women with a good female support system. Good job, ladies.

Ex SAHM, it was way harder being a SAHM than a computer engineer (my current job).

Hmm so when the kids start school then you have to drive them to school, pick them up, take them to their extra curriculars, pack lunches, cook dinner, get them up and ready bed, get them ready for school..hmm I am sure I am missing a bunch of things mothers due SAHM or otherwise🤔

Short answer. We make their lives too easy and they get bored.

Is being a SAHM as physically difficult as being a welder on a job site in -8° weather? No. But it does require a lot of mental/emotional labor to raise children and keep a home. Men often dismiss this labor but constantly reap the benefits.

I was a sahm mom until the kids were older. I was never bored. I had too much on my plate and still do. Once those kids are picked up from

When the kids go to school, it doesn’t change how much housework there is, you are just able to focus for a few hours a day. Not a fan of his POV here.

Comparing SAHM to welding and roofing, is crazy. Majority of men work in an office setting these days. So by comparison, neither jobs are as hard as they were in the past. 🙄

Homemakers are made to do all with no thanks. That’s why. Not idle hands. As they have much to do. It’s the inadequate appreciation for jobs done. As only money makers deserve that. Not the person doing everything

I think it’s more likely SAHMs feel extremely isolated and never get a break if they do not have a supportive husband/village. This isolation leads to extreme depression /desperation. Not because it’s “easy” and they are “not challenged”.

So the most common one to file for divorce is a stay at home Mom, because they find getting a job outside the home will be EASIER than staying home with their husband.

Nurses and teachers are overworked so when they come home and a man adds stress and more work that would be why the divorce. SAHM the same idle hands is so insane to say theyre overworked and over stressed all mums, nurses and teachers do is care for everyone and they cba caring for a grown man

All he's done is list the most common professions for women. The better question is: "in which profession is a woman most likely to divorce her husband?"

I stayed home during the week and worked as a nurse on the weekend. Being a stay at home mom was way easier.
