This would go SOOOOOO hard as a game. Premise: A pair of children who grew up on stories of Sesame Street told by their parents go on a search to find the long forgotten and defunded show. Their tasks along the way of their adventure restore the former glory of characters and breathe life back into the street.

How I’m interpreting this, is big bird is now a guardian for Sesame Street from the world, which is why he allowed the children in, why there is a fog, why the door only appeared when he directed the children, etc.

The sound design truly elevated this - the art was already haunting and melancholy but the sound gave it that little push that made it almost transcendent. What music was used during Big Bird’s scene gazing at the sun? It was my personal favorite moment and I just let rewatching it for that alone almost
