Here’s an idea. Go to the Lake District when the sky will be clear and no Moon in the night sky. Coniston or Buttermere are great places. You will see the proper night sky. Light pollution spoils the night sky. What you will see will be overwhelming. That’s of course if you haven’t seen it before.

1 place. Scottish highlands - this is called The Bone Caves up past Ullapool towards Lochinver (car needed) takes 8hrs to drive from Manchester/NW or imagine it be a good 13-16 hrs from London with stops but well worth it. There’s hundreds of trails and hills /mountains to climb free as well. Some challenging as they’re a bit rougher

Loved this hike . Went there after a breakup to ‘cleanse’ I was impressed . The waterfalls , the tree with coins and the water trickling inside the rocks and we saw some goats just roaming and climbing up hills it was super cute 🥰🥰
