I was suspended once. Asked them in the meeting if there was anything else they would like to discuss before I left because once I left my phone would no longer work. They said no. Once in my car I blocked my work number. The day I returned they pulled me into the office. Said they had called me numerous times (22 to be exact, all in the blocked voicemail folders). I said I was suspended and you weren’t paying for my services, so customer support was not available to you.

About two years ago, my boss and I made a deal. I told him I'd work December 24th and 25th if he gave me January 1st off. He agreed, and I worked those days. When I saw the next schedule, it said I was working the 1st. I told him I wasn't coming in, but they didn't listen. I didn't go to work the 1st. What happened? I was suspended for a week. What did I do? I bought tickets to New York and went on vacation.🤷🏻♀️

i put in a 3+ week resignation letter, even said I'd stay a little longer to train a replacement. they immediately fired me. they then had to cancel a client the next week because i was the only one with the proper license to do my job in the client's state

Literally did the same thing. They called me 6 days into my 2 week suspension and I said "no idea man, I'm in the middle of Lake Michigan. I'll see you on the 27th!"

Where I work I arrived late once and was told I was going to be marked absent for the day, so I said I would leave as it was an absence, they lost their minds and preferred to just pretend it didn't happen.

I got fired from my current job 3x and got multiple calls to come back to work. Each time I was asked to come back and I asked for more money. Now I’m on the “No hire” list yet I’m still working there LOL
