Even if the love was never real thank you thank you for the memories you left behind because somehow in between the lies and promises that quietly faded away there were moments that felt real to me moments my heart chose to believe in I loved you honestly deeply without realizing I was holding on to something temporary maybe your feelings changed or maybe they were never truly there to begin with but the smiles , the late night talks, the laughter that once filled the silence they meant everything to me you didn’t just teach me how to love you showed me how deep that love could go and how painful it can be when it breaks but I don’t hate you I just wish the love I felt was as real for you as it was for me so yes even if it was all just an illusion thank you because even though those memories hurt now ,they remind me of something important ‘ that my heart was genuine
