snape is the epitome of true, unconditional love. he did it all for love: played as a double agent only to protect lily, watched over her son and helped him till his very last breath, perishing after swearing protection to draco from the dark lord. and he did it all secretly, selflessly, never trying to gain approval or appreciation from other people. to almost everyone, snape looked like the coward, when he was actually the bravest of them all.

Love this one. Becoming older and watching these movies over and over. I think we can all agree that dumbledore was a very selfish man. Snape was someone who saw Lily in Harry and wanted to give him what he couldn’t give to Lily. Sirius Black was someone who tried to be a father figure for Harry. Remus Lupos was someone who tried to care for Harry the way he did for his friend James even tho He knew what for a monster he becomes during full moon. Hagrid and minerva were teachers but felt like family and the most important of all, Molly weasley treated Harry as her own son without wanting anything in return for it. I think this movie showed me personally that some people who care so much for you, will not always be in the spotlight in your life but they will always keep watching you when you fall back. In the movies, Harry always went to dumbledore for help even tho dumbledore was a selfish man that only wanted profit for himself. The big difference between dumbledore and snape is that snape died for Harry, dumbledore died for his own selfish good. This is my personal interpretation, it could be different to others.

This scene when we find out Snape begged Dumbledore to protect them. Legit changed everything on how I viewed his character. Losing him was hard. I judged him too early and understood him too late. 💔
