@thelocalproject: Video Feature • Amongst The Trees is a beautiful space, nestled into its natural setting. One of the key features of the project is the outdoor pavilion, designed with a cantilevered form. Along its edge, a concrete planter box creates the perfect place for cascading planting to spill over the sides. The plant selection is broad, with each area offering a different opportunity. Shaded spaces call for more considered planting, while the ferneries outside the sauna help create the atmosphere the space deserves. In the warmer areas, there’s room to introduce succulents and more heat-tolerant planting. Together, these moments create a real opportunity to blend different plant material across the project, with each selection responding to its location.
