i have this problem too. photographers always took more time taking my pics on photo day cuz no matter how hard i tried to keep my eyes open, the flashing lights hurt & i ended up with closed eyes or squinting. in a lot of photos im squinting cuz that was the only way they could take my photo with open eyes

It really frustrated me watching this and Tyra telling her that she needed to do better. I often physically cannot open my eyes in bright sun too. Light eyes are more sensitive than dark colored eyes too
