A strong PBIS system is NOT afraid of exclusionary practices— …it just doesn’t rely on them as its only response. ✋🏼 If your current framework leans on referrals and suspensions more than restorative practices, responsibility-building, and layered consequences—or it’s all rewards without any consequences, then you don’t have a PBIS system.
