In California when u engine swap a vehicle that vehicle turns into the car u took the motor out of. Everything has to be the same to make it legal

was the frame a salvage or rebuild title and I'm guessing it had a motor and trans are original to frame

ks counts body frame motor trans as 4 parts if you only change 2 that's ok but if u change 3 then it becomes the donor. if that makes any sense

in Washington the title goes by what it looks like dosnt matter if factory title say chevy if u have a GMC grill that what they title it lol

It should technically be titled by the frame of the vehicle not by the body unless you also vin tag the frame to match the body.

I live in Ohio, I have a 49 Chevy pick up. It has a Camaro sub frame under and 350 v8 and automatic transmission, it’s titled as a 49 Chevy truck .
