Flashing, molding or caulking is required. Look it under installation instructions 38 or 76 LP smartside lap siding. It is the best siding out there.

Unfortunately it’s made with wood so it swells when it gets wet and gets ruined when it’s soaked. Oh yeah, and it burns. Cement fiber board is better.

Didn’t crack the product, but you just put micro-cracks in the finish coat, definitely tells you not to handle it that way

I can do the install one person even if was hardy plank ... gecko gauge ... that I would still use this siding
