They won’t dissolve. They may start to surface but you need to get them removed

try using petroleum jelly to draw them to the surface and soften the skin enough to get a grip on them with some tweezers. Apply it overnight with a surgical patch over top.

My husband went through this soak in vinager water for few they should start coming out,and tweeze the spikes out don’t walk on it ..good luck

My sister stepped on a sea urchin like 7 years ago or longer and still had some spikes in her foot to this day.

Ohhh- this happened to me. My leg swelled to my knee. I had to dig them out. It felt so much better
