We just started trying to ad Darwin’s in tonight. Only a very small portion. My dog acted like it smelled disgusting and spit out the pieces to eat the kibble that it was mixed with. Any tips?

Please don't thaw meat in warm or hot water that is a danger point for bacteria to grow. Cold water or fridge thawing only.

Do you have to rehydrate ? Neither of my dogs will eat rehydrated food but are fine with kibble and just drink lots of water separately.
