@invisiblepeopletv: I originally shared this as an IG Story, but I want to give a more lasting shoutout to Cosima. I’m incredibly grateful she made the four-hour drive (each way!) to visit me today in Ottawa. This moment felt too special not to make permanent. Some of you may remember when we rallied to help Cosima bring Echo, her service dog, from Florida to Canada. In a way, you didn’t just help one life—you helped save two. Cosima, a young woman who was once homeless, and Echo, her incredible service dog, have been taking care of each other ever since. I first met Cosima at the CAEH conference in Montreal, back when she was homeless. I interviewed her for a video that played before the keynotes—something amazing CAEH used to do. We’ve been friends ever since, and now she helps moderate our online support group for people who are currently or formerly homeless. #homeless #invisiblepeople
