This week has been hard, isolating, lonely, emotional. I’ve had to say no to doing things that I’d normally jump at the opportunity to do. To me, I don’t feel like I’m really missing out, I’m choosing to do and not do what I feel is in the best interest of my knee. What’s been tough for me, is fear of what other people are thinking. Thinking I’m being a wuss, lazy, babying my injury, etc. that’s the hard part. I was in the middle of making my breakfast this morning, dropped everything, went to my room and cried. I felt the feelings, cried it out, and then I got up and kept going. I’m not letting my knee win, and I refuse to let my emotions set me back. So just know, I’m preaching that mindset changes everything, and I stand on that hill, but I also want you to know it’s okay to cry, and feel the emotions. But feel it, cry it out, and move forward. #acl #injuredathlete #fitnessmotivation #aclrecovery
