These twins went from homeless to £13K a month. But if they had listened to Gary Stevenson’s advice instead of mine… They wouldn’t have even tried. In fact they’d probably still be homeless. 18 months after we met and they’ve now… Moved their family into a 5-bedroom home. Gone viral online reaching millions each month. Won awards. Worked with million-pound brands. Been featured on BBC News. But Gary and the crowd of tens of thousands rallying behind him would tell you this story doesn’t matter. They’d call it a “fluke” and find reasons why it’s not possible for the average person. Instead of focusing on how the twins did it, they’d focus on finding reasons why THEY can’t. The Maka twins grew up sleeping on sofas. Five people in a one-bedroom flat. Gary says the only way to get rich is by having rich parents. But that's something the twins certainly don’t have. Gary’s answer to a broken system is simple: “Tax the rich.” That’s it. No real solution. No plan for people to create change. And for people like the twins. They have no hope so they should just give up. It’s nonsensical. And look, I agree: the system IS broken. But telling people to sit and wait for someone richer to be taxed? That’s not a solution. Not everyone HAS to be an entrepreneur but everyone deserves the opportunity to try. People deserve to know what they’re saying no to when they choose to work for someone else. They deserve informed consent when making decisions that could shape their entire life. Because here’s the difference between me and Gary: He doesn’t believe in people like the Maka twins. I do. Because I’ve seen first hand, time after time again, people like the twins escape their struggles and build something great. People from “nowhere” escaping poverty and changing their families' lives forever. Belief is so powerful and it’s why Gary's message is so dangerous. Don’t wait for someone else to change your world because it won’t happen. You have to change it yourself. Will everyone build a £13K/month business? No. But should everyone have the chance to build something? Absolutely. That’s why I do what I do. That’s why I’ve shown up every single day for the past 4 years even when I’ve made enough money to never have to work again. That’s why I want every person supporting Gary’s message to watch the Maka twins’ story. So they can see what’s possible –> Link in bio 🔗 And this Sunday, I’ll be posting my full response to Gary’s message and my complete breakdown of the “Tax the Rich vs Entrepreneurship” debate. I’ll show you a better path forward than sitting back and giving up. Because if we all come together we CAN fix the system. And I don’t hate Gary, in fact I like him. He’s fighting for the right things. He’s just going about it the complete wrong way. If we can come together, I believe we can create a real impact. So @Gary Stevenson let’s chat and change the system the right way. And give people like the @MAKAGROUP Services the belief that they can change the system. Because it’s the entrepreneurs like them that can.
