my aunt killed herself when i was 12. a few yrs before her and her husband divorced. she had left some things at her ex husbands house. he put them in a plastic tote in his basement. the days she died the music box in the tote went off over and over.

I would say his phone or watch programmed to call loved ones when it had a collision, but 17yrs ago that tech did not exist.

The iPhone has the feature that calls emergency contacts whenever high impact is detected. Not sure it was available at that time though.
