The rebellion of adult children against their parents, especially their mothers is completely out of control. Parents are just human. Some parents are absolutely horrible. Some parents make mistakes, fix themselves, become accountable, apologize to their adult children, and it does no good. The child will just continue to be angry and use their own children against their parents. That is not right.

He’s saying, if you haven’t learned to break your OWN “generational curse” toxic patters, unhealthy ways of speaking, discipline etc you unconsciously bring that cycle into your child’s life. If you grew up in a dysfunctional home you’re more likely to recreate a lot of those things without even noticing right away.

i had to ask to go to chruch or the gym. they said they do it to keep me safe and when i turn 18 they said i still have to do it. anytime i say my feelings or tell them i can’t wait to move they always shame me for it

Growing up with a mum who had a bad mental health. I dident know what was wrong with her. I though it was my fault that she was sick😢 communicate with your children when a parent is struggling.
