@sir_wehrmann: And this is How new Buhurt armor is Born from the Fire onto the Anvil of the Battlefields 🔥 - The Most Important step after smithing the armor is the proper hardening and tempering of the armor to make it sturdy yet flexible so it wont bend from heavy hits but also wont shatter - #medievaltiktok #armor #knighttok

I normally put them on while they’re hot because they mold to my shape and fit a little tighter.

Doesn’t water tempering have a high risk of cracking and fracture?

imagine back in the day, in order to become a legendary knight, you have to put that on coming straight outta the fire

I mean it's a good idea to poke holes in it for the water. But now your helmet is full of holss.

Are you forging it or is this heat treatment? I thought plate armour was wrapped and studded not cast ?

95 liter tote would be much better. I wash my laundry in a 95L tote and it could easily accommodate those helmets

I know a little about blade smithing, and know water quenches can leave a blade too hard and brittle. Does it not have the same effect with armor?
