I think the passenger should always ask the flight attendant to help them instead of pressuring random people to move…the flight attendant can then offer whoever will move some incentive to do so!

No, I’m not gonna switch my seat. I choose my seat where I want to sit on the plane. I pay for that. If they want to sit with their kids who are minors that’s their responsibility to book their seat. Why are they not booking seats to sit with their kids or family to sit with their family. If you were OK with a random seat, then you’re gonna sit in random seats.

I haven’t seen anyone mention is that airlines will sometimes not respect assigned seats. One time when I went to get my boarding pass for me & my brother our seats were not together
