I would never tell it to optimize my LinkedIn profile without providing enough context or direction on how I want it to be optimized. That’s the problem with most people and their prompting today is that they don’t provide enough direction, clarity, specificity, etc.

It can only read it if your linkedin is visable to everyone. If you have “connections only” or any other security settings on your profile it cannot read it, regardless how often you tell it otherwise.

From someone in marketing ops - Linkedin is super against any form of bot traffic due to scraping. It's very likely ChatGPT can't actually read your profile, try using o3 and see if the reasoning says it can access!
