As a Norwegian, you’re alone in this, we literally pronounce it in the English way even in Norwegian we say chilly and not shilly and kylling not shylling🙏😔

Never understood this. As a fellow Swede, I have never had any problems with this. Remember I got a compliment from my English teacher because I speak like an American. Meanwhile all my classmates have differing amounts of Swedish accents

You need to put the tip of your tongue behind your upper teeth when you say cheese, if you let it lay flat in your mouth you just get the sh-sound instead of ch-sound

I kinda dont get why this is Sweden exclusive because other languages also say the J like that but then they have no issues with pronouncing the J in English.
