this is my favourite point. no one can actually disprove me when I say "god spoke to me and told me to get an abortion, he said he needs my child more than i do" how could they argue that? all miscarried fetuses go to heaven according to them, so I'm following what god has told me. he's directed his followers to commit sins/do heinous things before to prove their obedience to him. connecting the line to "it's a personal relationship" how can they know my personal relationship with god better than me?

Simple rule of thumb, the god hypothesis has utter failed to reach its burden of proof. It’s just a claim, and extraordinary claims require extraordinary evidence, and that which can be asserted without evidence may be dismissed without evidence. It’s that simple guys 👍

If he created us and just lets us do our thing, knowing the consequences of making the wrong decisions, he isn’t all loving. I’ll let my kids make their own decisions when the stakes aren’t high, but I’m not going to let them decide to play in traffic
